Alex Bershadsky is one of the rising voices in the contemporary jazz scene: a bassist, composer, and educator with a unique musical vision. Early in his career, he performed with leading Israeli artists (Corinne Allal, Gali Atari, Tzvika Pik, Shlomit Aharon, and more). Later, his international collaborations expanded to include musicians such as Israeli guitarist Oz Noy, drummer Dennis Chambers, legendary guitarist Mike Stern, virtuoso bassist Michael Manring, and others.
His first two albums, recorded in New York, received recognition in prestigious bass magazines worldwide, establishing his reputation as a creator with an international presence.
Alex Bershadsky’s music naturally moves between jazz, funk, fusion, and Latin influences, while maintaining musical freedom and improvisation as core elements. His bass playing transcends the traditional role of the instrument—it is melodic, expressive, and dynamic, serving not only as a rhythmic and harmonic foundation but also as a distinct musical voice.
